Reviews and Ratings
The hotel felt more like a serviced apartment with a spacious room that had a big refrigerator, a small kitchen, microwave oven, hot kettle, and a dining table, which I found really nice. However, there was a lingering smell of cigarette smoke that was a bit off-putting.
The hotel had rooms equipped with kitchens, which was a great help considering we were not used to cooler temperatures coming from a humid and tropical location like Malaysia. However, we had to move rooms at 2 am, which was a bit inconvenient.
The hotel is set on the edge of Myeongdong, offering a strategic location just a 10-minute walk to the bustling area. The rooms are spacious, although some show signs of aging with old furniture. The service is top-notch, with super friendly and accommodating staff ready to assist, even upgrading us to a 2-bedroom suite at no extra cost. The dining experience may not be the best value for money, serving repetitive breakfast options. Despite the slight inconvenience of having to navigate alleyways or a hill to reach the front door, the location provides a good base for exploring Myeongdong.
The hotel offers clean and complete facilities, with spacious and comfy rooms, but unfortunately, the view is a downside. The service was friendly and helpful, although dry cleaning and laundry are available for an additional charge. The location is convenient, especially for accessing the metro station. The dining experience seemed subpar, but the availability was noted. Overall, a decent option with a few drawbacks.
The hotel is perfectly situated near various attractions in Korea, making it super convenient for exploring. The rooms were not only spacious with all necessary facilities, but also had a room heater that was a lifesaver for us coming from humid Malaysia. The staff was incredibly accommodating, even upgrading us to a 2-bedroom suite at no extra cost. On the downside, the uphill walk to the front entrance was a bit tiring, but the overall quality and service made up for it.
The 2-bedroom apartment in the hotel is a perfect choice for families, offering spacious rooms with a big double bed and comfortable bedding, a variety of TV channels, fast WIFI, excellent cooling and heating system, and a large bathroom with free daily toiletries. The master bedroom comes with a private bath featuring dual sinks, shower, and tub. The location is great, near Myeongdong shopping street and Namdaemun traditional market, perfect for exploring. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, even providing a loaned transformer unit for charging electronics. While the dining experience may be simple and not changing daily, it's still great value for money.
